The Cat's Pajamas Release Day & Blog Hop

It's release day at The Cat's Pajamas and we're celebrating with a Blog Hop.  Available today in The Cat's Pajamas shop are 3
stamp sets and 4 dies.

I am first up in the Hop this month.   I used the new Sweets Cutups
die set to create the ice cream cone.  It's a very sweet set, no pun intended.  The new Big, Little Alphabet is a new found favorite of mine.  It's so clean looking, and the large size of the letters allow them to be the focal point of your project.

Now hop on over to Wendy's blog to see what creative inspiration she has for you.

The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek

Hello friends!  Summer is officially upon us, at least here in California, and with the temperature over 100 degrees I'd rather be inside creating pretty things than out in the hot sun.

Available on Tuesday, June 26th are 3 stamp sets and 4 die sets, including a free with purchase stamp set.  Make sure you check out what the other ladies in The Cat Pack have come up with for your creative inspiration.

For my first card I used a die set new to the Shop, Going Round and Round.  In this set, you get the two scalloped circles, plus two interactive dies to create movement on your project.  You can see how to use the interactive dies here.  The cute little penguin and sentiment are from the new Penguin Summer stamp set.  This set screams summer and is such a fun set. The Stitched Clouds and County Fair stamp sets are already available in the Shop.  I embellished with a few sequins to give it some sparkle.

Bright, fruity drinks are a definite summer icon and for my next project, I went with a bright summery color combination. For my fruity drinks I die cut the glasses with the new Margarita CutUps, and stamped the color with the matching Liquid Therapy stamp set.
The sentiment is from the new (free with purchase)  Need Glasses stamp set.  I used the Pinking Border CutUps to border the pink layer, and embellished with some bakers twine and buttons.

For my last project I made a very simple card by die cutting burlap with the new to the Shop Big, Little Alphabet CutUps. The sweet little sentiment is from the already available Words of Love stamp set.
